The project generally includes providing liquid sodium hypochlorite, liquid sodium hydroxide, potassium permanganate, powdered activated carbon, liquid sodium bisulfite, hydrated lime, and sludge polymer on a regular and as-needed basis to the City's Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants located at 601 E. Pearl Street, Burlington, NJ 08016 and 900 W. Broad Street, Burlington, NJ 08016. Bidders may bid on any individual or all chemicals noted. The bid includes the supply of chemicals for 2026. Bids must be made on the standard Bid form contained within the specifications and contract documents, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the Project title on the outside, and addressed to the Municipal Clerk, City Hall, 525 High Street, Burlington, New Jersey 08016. Each bid must be accompanied by all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and a bid guarantee in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000. The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, drawn to the order of City of Burlington, New Jersey and delivered with the sealed bid. Submit your Letter of Federal Approval or your New Jersey Certificate of Employee Information Report with the bid, or complete and submit Affirmative Action Employee Information Report (AA302) if neither is available. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C.17:27, and all other applicable laws referenced within the specifications and contract documents.
