The project involves site improvements at Walnut Street (also known as 6th St) Park in the City of Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey. Work generally includes, but is not limited to: concrete construction, drainage installation, playground improvements, reconstruction of an existing basketball court, installation of new pickleball courts, fencing, and various other miscellaneous improvements to the park complete in every detail as shown or specified. Bids must be made on the standard bid form contained within the drawings, specifications, and contract documents, in the manner designated and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project title on the outside, and addressed to the City Clerk. Each bid must be accompanied by all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist and a bid guarantee of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000. The guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, drawn to the order of City of Burlington, and delivered with the bid. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C.17:27, and other applicable laws. Vendors who are suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participating. The City of Burlington reserves the right to reject all bids or waive minor informalities/non-material exceptions as deemed in its interest and will reject any bid containing material nonconformities or conditions, or that is materially nonresponsive.
