Site work and paving for a road / highway in Youngsville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade road / highway.
The project scope includes asphalt pavement milling, overlay, patching, new roadway construction, minor roadway repairs, drainage construction repairs, and utility repairs on LA 92 within the City of Youngsville. This work includes approximately 1,700 square yards of asphalt milling, 200 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement, 650 square yards of full depth asphalt patching along with pavement striping, drainage improvements, site grading, and other appurtenances associated with the completion of the work. Bids must include a bid bond equivalent to 5% of the bid price. A performance bond and payment bond of not less than 100% of the contract price are required. Only bids from contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law R.S. 37:2150-2173 will be considered for bids exceeding $50,000.00. Contractors desiring to bid must submit evidence that they hold a license of proper classification of Municipal and Public Works Construction in full force and effect at the time drawings, specifications, and forms are requested from the engineers. Complete bid documents may be obtained from McBade Engineers & Consultants. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
