Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
It is suggested, but notrequired,that Bidder conduct a pre-bid Site visit during normal working hours. Because the Site is gated, the scheduled Pre-bid Site visit/Q&A will be the only time access to the Site is available (see Article 7). In general, the work under this contract consists of replacing 108 City-owned lead water service lines and replace 1 brass, 10 galvanized and 8 lead customer-owned water service lines, flushing service lines immediately following replacement, and the restoration of disturbed roadway, curbs and sidewalks at various locations in the City. Included in its right to reject bids, is the right for the City, in its sole discretion, to reject bids which are deemed by the City to be incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions, erasures, alterations, omissions or irregularities of any kind.
