The scope of work will generally consist of removal and replacement of two aeration rotors and the effluent weir in the south oxidation ditch, furnishing and installing two metal walkways, electrical work and equipment, all specified and depicted appurtenances, and all other requisite and incidental materials, labor, supervision, and equipment for the completion and perfection of the project contract. The work included under this section consists of fabricating, hauling, storing, and installing all beams, channels, angles, heavy wall structural tubing, plates, bearing plates, pad eyes, walkway grating, stairways, weirs, plates, anchors, bolts, nuts, and washers in the locations shown on the plans and as herein specified, including all tools, materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to complete this item. Note that this item includes support beams, grating, and handrails supplied incidental to specified equipment. The work of this section consists of removing and replacing the adjustable effluent weir in the ditch outlet chamber adjacent to the south aeration rotor. The work in this section consists of furnishing, storing, installing, and placing into operation a total of two (2) dissolved oxygen (DO) probes and controllers at the new aeration basins. The probes and controllers shall be installed as shown on the drawings, and shall include all tools, labor, supervision, equipment, and incidentals necessary for a complete and functioning system. The work covered by the specification shall include furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services to construct the complete electrical system as shown on the construction plans and as specified herein. The work, in general, includes the following principle items: The complete conduit and wiring system for variable frequency drives and components. The complete conduit and wiring system for dissolved oxygen sensor and controller. Two (2) new variable frequency drives as specified. All conduit and wiring from D.O. controller and V.F.D.S to owners existing Scada system. All programming shall be by owner's integrator.
