Base Bid includes: 128 each 3/4" Solid State Water Meters, 128 Endpoint (Radio Communication Device), 120 Meter Boxes & Lids, 120 Copper Meter Setters, 120 each 3/4" Meter Installations, 120 Installations of New Box, Lid, & Setter, 1 Lump Sum to Record & Document Existing Inlet & Outlet Pipe Material, 1 Lump Sum Drive-By AMR System (Reader, Tablet, Software, Mapping), and 1 Lump Sum for 3 Years of AMR Software Subscription. All work shall be performed, and all construction and material used and furnished shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Parkhill and on file with Mayes Co. RWD #8. Prospective bidders may obtain bid documents from Parkhill either electronically at no cost, or as paper copies for $50 per set. Only those who obtain documents from Parkhill will be registered as plan holders and receive any addenda. Each bid must include a certified or cashier's check, or a bidder's bond, for 5 percent of the bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and furnish required bonds within ten days after acceptance of the bid. Unsuccessful bidders' deposits will be returned after execution of the contract and required bonds. Each bid shall include a DW-412 Noncollusion Affidavit and a DW-413 Business Relationships Affidavit in writing, showing the bidder has not entered into agreements with others regarding the price, limiting bids or bidders, paying for promotion, or parceling out any part of the contract or profits.
