This Project consists of, but not limited to, construction/installation of ten (10) Drilled Pier foundations to support the installation of Fire-Barriers installed between each of the GSU Transformers. Contractors shall install the following foundations in accordance with the drawings. Refer to the drawings for the count and details of each foundation. This contract will require the use of High Early Type III concrete for all foundation applications. The contractor is to submit the batch mix for GRDA approval, which should include the name and manufacturer for each admixture and for curing compound. The proposed Type III mix design shall include test data at three (3), seven (7), fourteen (14) and twenty-eight (28) days of cure from date of pour. Type I and II will require test data at seven (7), fourteen (14), twenty-one (21) and twenty-eight (28) days of cure from date of pour. A cylinder break will be required along with verification from the engineer or project manager before steel & equipment can be placed on the foundation. The concrete mix design strength shall be as listed in the Technical Specification section. Before the foundations are poured, the anchor bolt pattern for the related steel shall be verified by the contractor to ensure that the steel will mount on the foundation correctly. This contract consists of the construction/installation of ten (10) drilled piers inside the GRDA Pensacola Dam Substation, located at 420 OK-82, Langley Ok 74350.
