(1): Job JSE0026 Route N Ste Genevieve County. Bridge replacement over Little Saline Creek near St Mary, the total length of improvement being 0.086 miles. Contract Time: 12/31/26 Range: $1M to $2.5M Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier's Check, Drawn on Any Bank or Trust Company and Payable to "Director of Revenue, Credit State Road Fund", or Bidders May Submit a Bid Bond for Each Project Bid or an Annual Bid Bond That Would Cover All Projects Bid for a Twelve Month Beginning July 1 and Ending June 30 of Each Missouri State Fiscal Year. Annual Bid Bond Forms Must Be Submitted by June 15 of Each Year. Bid bonds must be Submitted on a form furnished by the commission, executed by the bidder and corporate surety, and naming the "State of missouri, acting by and Through the missouri highways and transportation commission", as obligee) for an amount (or penal sum) equal to 5% or more of the bid, Which check or bond shall be deposited with the commission as a guaranty and forfeited in the event the bidder is found to be the successful bidder and fails to comply with the terms of the request for bid. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Insure That in Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, Religion, Creed, Sex, Age, Ancestry, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award. The Right Is Reserved by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission to Reject Any or All Bids. Any Contractor Who Desires to Bid on the Project(S) Involved in the Bid Opening Must Have a Contractor Questionnaire on File in the Office of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission at Least Seven Full Days (168 Hours) Prior to the Time of Bid Opening. A New Contractor Questionnaire Must Be Filed Annually Except That the Commission May Request a New Questionnaire at Any Time. MO DOT- H05 - Bridge Replacement - Route N *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This work shall consist of a pavement composed of either Portland cement concrete or asphaltic concrete constructed on a prepared subgrade. This work shall be performed in accordance with the standard specifications and as shown on the plans or established by the engineer. This work shall include construction of a temporary stream crossing or workpad to facilitate the placement of the Contractor's equipment in the stream, in accordance with Division 100 of the General Provisions. This work shall consist of repairing any damage to existing pavement, shoulders, side roads, and entrances caused by Contractor operations. This shall include, but is not limited to, damage caused by the traffic during Contractor operations within the project limits including the work zone signing. This work covers the requirements for controlling residue or slurry produced by milling, grinding, planning, grooving or other methods of surface treatments on new or existing PCCP and bridge decks in addition to Section 622. The project is within the known range of the federally endangered Indiana bat and threatened northern long-eared bat and proposed endangered tricolored bat. These bats are known to roost in trees with suitable habitat characteristics during summer months. 1.1 MoDOT has determined that suitable roost trees for IN and NLE bats exist within the project area. The trees have been or can be marked with either a spray painted "X" or a pink ribbon on their trunks. Suitable Indiana and northern long-eared bat roost trees have been or can be GPS located. 1.2 To avoid negative impacts to roosting Indiana and northern long-eared bats, as well as habitat generalist tricolored bats, removal of any trees/limbs greater than three (3) inches in diameter will only be allowed between October 16 and March 31.
