Separate sealed bids will be received online via for the Deer Lake Dam D54-112 - Infrastructure Repairs, Renovations & Upgrades project. The project generally consists of concrete repairs to resurface the dam core wall and abutments, reinstalling and mounting three sluice gates to the dam structure and lubricating them, reinstalling and securing the three trash cages to the dam structure, the removal and installation of Sediment Basin No. 1 concrete wall, installation of sediment basin wall at the influent into the diversion channel, and replacement of the sediment basin wall where the diversion channel enters into the lake. Bidders are directed to ensure that bid submissions are complete as required by the specifications; incomplete submissions may be deemed non-responsive. All bidders must furnish bid security, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, and evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Contract Documents. The wages paid on this project will be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended and supplemented. The Borough of Deer Lake reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all Bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items. The estimated budget for R-7 Rock in Bid Item 5 is incorrectly input on the Bid Tabulation. Please use 1,600 TON for R-7 Rock. Payment will be based on the amount of stone placed. The contractor shall post on PennBid any questions arising at the nonmandatory pre-bid conference. The Engineer shall transmit to all prospective Bidders of record as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and shall not be binding or legally effective. RFIs submitted prior to the cutoff date will be answered in an addendum to follow by November 4, 2025, 4:00 PM, which will include the Pre-Bid Meeting minutes. The RFI cutoff is at 4:00 PM on Friday October 31, 2025.
