This project shall consist of a base bid for lining existing sanitary sewer main line piping with a cured in-place pipe system. Alternate 1 shall consist of lining 66 storm sewer pipe with a cured-in-place pipe system. This project note include lining services. Question Deadline 10/24/2025 submit to the engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof at least three days prior to the scheduled bid opening. Said bids are for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete and in place in accordance with the plans and specifications for the following estimated quantities of work: 6,000 LF 9' Cured-In-Place System, 4,500 LF 9' Cured-In-Place System Easement, and 200 EA Re-Installment of Services. Bids shall be in accordance with the bidding documents as prepared by the City of Shoreview Public Works Department. Bids will only be accepted electronically from contractors listed as a planholder on the city's Connex site. Bids will not be considered unless accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Shoreview, for five percent (5%) of the amount bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to accept the bid deemed in their best interest. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission shall comply with the provisions of the statute. All bidders for contract amounts of $100,000 or more shall require contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors which have 40 or more full-time employees to submit a copy of their affirmative action certification for the current period after their bid, before construction. The project shall be completed by March 31, 2026.
