Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Gretna, Louisiana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes construction of a new 600 CFS drainage pump station, dredging a new intake canal, and installation of discharge piping over the West Return Floodwall, located on Vintage Dr. near Platt St. in Kenner. Work includes reconstruction of Platt St. across the intake canal, utility service connections, grading, fencing, and other miscellaneous sitework. Supplementary services include surveying, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, geotechnical investigations, permitting, and estimates and evaluation of several options for construction. The project may include land acquisition services and resident inspection services. Firms submitting a Statement of Qualifications must identify all sub-consultant firms and submit a Statement of Qualifications for each sub-consultant firm. Compensation may be hourly, fixed fee, or a combination, as determined by Jefferson Parish. For each assignment, compensation and method of payment will be determined by the Parish. All associated costs are subject to review and approval by Jefferson Parish.
