Site work and paving for a road / highway in Glassboro, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for resurfacing and safety improvements to Union Street (CR619) between Whig Lane Road (CR619/610) and Sewell Street (CR628) in the Township of Elk and Borough of Glassboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey. Principal work items include HMA milling (3" or less), HMA 12.5ME surface and 9.5M64 intermediate courses, traffic stripes (4" & 8"), RPMs, HMA and reinforced concrete driveways, pipe lining and cleaning, video pipe inspection, guide rail installation, and non-vegetative porous HMA surfaces in specified quantities. Bids must include: - A proposal bond (10% of total bid, max $20,000) - Consent of surety for performance and payment bonds - Non-collusion affidavit - Public disclosure information sheet (stockholders owning 10% or more) - Wage and hour compliance acknowledgment - Plan and equipment questionnaire - Business registration certificate (including all sub-contractors) - Signed bid by an authorized company representative, delivered as instructed. Compliance with laws against discrimination and New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act is required. The County may reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award to the most suitable bidder. Obvious bid imbalances may be rejected.
