Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Rock Creek-Lima Township, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

As of November 6, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Georgetown is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the building of a records storage facility. Any questions or concerns can be directed to Georgetown City Hall 217-662-2525. BUILDING USE: File Storage building 30' x 40' x 10' with an interior 10' x 10' Evidence Room. SITE PREPARATION: Site preparation will be completed by the City of Georgetown to within (+/-) one inch of final grade. Finish material will be made available on site for Contractor use in preparing the pad(s). A site visit prior to installation is required for the Contractor to verify final conditions, tie-in locations, and alignment of the pad constructed by the city. DRAWINGS: General Contractor must supply Stamped Structural Drawings. BUILDING: Note: Must visit site to match trim & color on Georgetown Police Station, 200 S. Main St, Georgetown, IL 30' x 40' x 10' Building: Columns & Trusses spaced at 8' O.C. Dig Hole & Set Columns 4' below grade. Engineered footings included for both sidewalls & ends. Backfill building columns with gravel. Furnish a well graded crushed granular aggregate (IE 53's or CA-6) for backfill around building columns. Crew pull-off for stub ahead project - pull off for concrete 3 PLY 2" x 6" laminated side wall columns spaced at 8' O.C. 3 PLY 2" x 6" laminated end wall columns 3 PLY 2" x 6" Perma-column system with 10,000 PSI Concrete 30' Single PLY trusses designed for a 20 psf ground snow. Trusses spaced at 8' O.C. with a 5/12 Truss pitch. 2"x4" roof purlins fastened with screws to top of trusses. Steel Siding - 1400 SF Building wrap behind steel siding (exclude gable truss area), Include full hard 80,000 psi steel siding, Kynar 500 painted siding, siding fastened with stainless steel cap screws. Steel Wainscoting - 36" wainscot on entire structure less door area Steel Roofing - Galvalume full hard 80,000 psi steel roofing, Kynar 500 painted roofing, roofing fastened with stainless steel cap screws. Vented steel ridge cap at peak. 12" end overhang with non-vented soffit at both end walls 12" side overhang with vented soffit at both side walls. Furnish & install metal soffit system Include 6" gutters with downspouts, with Kynar 500 paint system, furnish & install surface drainage to direct downspout water away from building. Steel Walk Doors & Accessories: (2) 3'x6'-8" steel insulated walk door with steel frame, with stainless steel hinges, grade 2 commercial lever lockset for steel doors. Fireblocking - International Building Code: 2x vertical column fire blocking on both sides every 8', 2" x 6" fire blocking at top of wall cavity, 1/2" polystyrene foam insulation baffle. Interior Steel Ceiling Liner Package: Attic cat walk - 12" wide OSB at 4" above truss bottom cord, ceiling trim at top perimeter of ceiling, 4-mil visqueen vapor barrier on ceiling area, white 29-ga steel ceiling liner panel with 12" O.C. ribs, (1) - 24"x48" attic accesses Interior Wall Liner Package with a White Steel Finish: 2"x6" treated & sill sealer at base perimeter, 6" unfaced batt insulation on walls (R-19), 4-mil visqueen vapor barrier on walls, Steel liner base trim, Inside/outside corner trim, White steel wall liner panel w/ 9" O.C. ribs on walls, door & window trim with steel liner. 10'x10' Evidence Room - Anchor partition wall columns to concrete, 3-PLY 2"x6" laminated columns for walls 2"x6" treated & sill sealer at base, 2"x4" - 4'-8" max on both sides of walls, steel liner base trim on both sides of walls, White steel wall liner panel w/ 9" O.C. ribs both sides of walls. CONCRETE: Prep & pour 30'x40' shed floor 5" thick, reinforced with 6x6x10 W.W.M. on top of 6 mil vapor barrier. Prep, Form & Pour 5' wide by 5" thick sidewalk, 40' long with 5'x6" ramp on East end, reinforced with 6x6x10 W.W.M. with a 6"x12" barrier curb at face of sidewalk, with (1)-#4 rebar at face of curb. Final grade +/- 1", Sealer & sawcut per ACI recommendation. ELECTRICAL: (5) - 8' LED strip lights - Fixture A - Lithonia LL810000LM 80 CRI 40k min 1 mV (1) - 1x4 LED wrap - Fixture B - Lithonia BLWP4 30 L ADP EZ10 LP840 (1) - Exit/Emergency combo - Fixture C - Lithonia LHQM-LED-RSD (1) - Egress light with battery back-up - Fixture D - Lithonia WPX1 LED P1 40k mV E14W (1) - Emergency light - Fixture E - Lithonia ELM2-LED-25545 (6) - Indoor GFCI receptacles (3) - Outdoor receptacles (2) - Outdoor sconces to match sconces on existing building. - Fixture F (1) - 20 watt wall pack - Fixture G - Lithonia WPX1 LED P1 40k mV (1) - Furnace - A/C wire up (1) - 60 amp, 12 space breaker box - fed from existing building Contractor shall provide and install all necessary conduit, conductors, fittings, and connections to properly feed the new sub-panel in the building. Electrical service shall originate from the existing building and be routed underground to the new building. Contractor shall comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and utility requirements. A mandatory site visit is required to verify existing conditions, routing, and tie-in points prior to submitting a bid. HVAC: Arcoaire Forced Air Heating & Cooling (1) - 60,000 BTU, 96% Arcoaire Furnace (1) - A/C Condenser Pad (1) - 2.5 ton Arcoaire A/C System (1) - Refrigerant Line; Insulated Copper; Fittings (1) - Thermostat; Wire (1) - Return Air Drop; Filter, Exhaust & Intake Chimneys, Electrical up to 10'; Complete Supply Air System, Insulated, Flex, Registers, Condensate Drain Line, Hangers, Pump Down & Charge System; Test & Balance System Contractor shall provide and install all necessary piping, fittings, and connections to properly hook up and complete the gas line installation. Gas service shall originate from the existing building and be routed underground to the specified location. Contractor shall comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and utility requirements. A mandatory site visit is required to verify existing conditions, routing, and tie-in points prior to submitting a bid.
