The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (Superintendent) Will Receive Sealed Proposals for Dsa-approved Tenant Improvements at Four (4) School Sites Within San Bernardino County. Frost Early Education Center, Mulberry Early Education Center, and Barbara Phelps Community School Will Receive Upgrades, Including Controlled Entry, Hvac Replacement, Parking Improvements, Path of Travel Enhancements, and Renovations to Drop-off Areas and Restrooms. Additionally, Mulberry Will Require the Installation of an Owner-furnished Playground Structure, and Barbara Phelps Will Receive a Shade Structure, Bleachers, and Improvements to the Basketball Court (Including Crack Filling, Seal Coating, and Restriping). Norma Covert Early Education Center Will Receive Hvac Replacement and Related Upgrades Only. Bidders Are Advised to Review the Bid Documents Carefully for Specific Scope Details and Timelines Associated With Each Site. The Successful Bidder Shall Commence Work on or About November 24, 2025. All Work for Each Site Shall Be Completed by December 31, 2026, the Superintendent Will Meet With the Successful Bidder to Provide Milestones for Prioritized Work to Be Completed, Which Will Be Agreed to in the Project Schedule. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Amount, in Accordance With Public Contract Code Section 20111, Substitution of Eligible and Equivalent Securities Under This Contract Will Be Permitted at the Request and Expense of the Bidder. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Payment and Performance Bonds Totaling 100% of the Contract Amount.
