The scope of work includes all work shown on the Drawings, including removal of an existing screen wall (metal louvers, metal framing, grout base pads, and anchors), and installing wood blocking, fully adhered EPDM membrane, and sheet metal coping along existing curbs. At mechanical penthouse wall corners, the work includes new sheet metal wall panels and sheet metal coping to close the gaps where the screen wall has been removed. Work will be performed under a single lump sum contract for all work. Alternate 01 includes removal and patching of 25 SF of EPDM roof membrane, with removal and replacement of any concealed damaged or wet protection board and insulation. All labor and material called out in the Drawings and Project Manual are to be furnished. Bidders are required to use the NWTC bid form for submitting their fixed fee and stipulated sum price. It is the responsibility of bidders to ensure proposals are received on time, as late proposals will be rejected unopened. Bid security is required, and the accepted bidder must provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Certificate of Insurance listing NWTC as additional insured. Bids must be guaranteed for a minimum of 120 days from the date of bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contract award is contingent upon funds availability, budget considerations, and any Federal or State Public Health Orders.
