The City of Saginaw is soliciting Sealed Bid Proposals for an Automatic Boiler Blown-Down System with specifications as shown in bid document. Bidders who have questions on this project can contact Chuck Thompson, Wastewater Treatment Plant Maintenance Supervisor at (989)759-1791, cthompson@saginaw-mi.com. Bidders may include supporting documents. The City reserves the right to determine equivalent. An original bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must be submitted with any bid in excess of $100,000. If the agreement is for multiple years, each year should be combined to get your total cost. Facsimiles or copies of the bid bond will not be accepted, and your bid will be disqualified if submitted in that manner. The City reserves the right to request items on an 'as needed' basis. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities which do not materially affect the bid document or otherwise conflict with statute or ordinance. Any rejections of bids shall be made only if there is a sound documented reason for the same.
