Renovation of a mixed-use development in Weeping Water, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Cass County School District 13-0022, commonly known as Weeping Water Public Schools (the "School District"), is requesting bids from qualified individuals or entities for an HVAC renovation project. The project site will be available for on-site work to commence in or around December 2025. The district would like to have all work completed as soon as possible but understand that phased projects take longer to complete. All bidders are required to submit their proposed date of substantial completion, which must be no later than December 31st, 2026." December 1, 2025: On-Site Commencement The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. The winning bid shall be announced by the Board of Education at its meeting to be held on or about November 17, 2025, or at such other meeting determined by the Board. All questions, inquiries, or requests for clarification or site inspection should be submitted in writing to planroom@clarkenersen.com. The Bidder must submit a bid security on or before the bid submittal deadline in the amount of 5% of the bid amount in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond. Bidder pledges that it will enter into a contract with the School District on the terms stated in the bid and will furnish the required bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and payment of all obligations thereunder. Bidder acknowledges that the damages the School District would incur in the event the Bidder refuses to enter into a contract or fails to furnish such bonds are difficult to determine and are indefinite and uncertain. Therefore, the failure or refusal to enter into a contract or to furnish the required bond(s) shall result in the forfeiture of the bid security as liquidated damages. Question Deadline 10/30/2025 To secure the faithful performance of the work and to satisfy all of Bidder's payment obligations that arise on the project, the successful Bidder will be required to provide a payment bond in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum through a corporate surety company, conditioned for the payment of all laborers and mechanics for labor that is performed and for the payment for material and equipment rental which is actually used or rented in the performance of the Contract. The successful Bidder will also be required to provide a performance bond in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum through a corporate surety company The School District reserves the right (a) to terminate the bid process at any time; (b) to reject any or all bids; and (c) to waive formalities and minor irregularities in the bids received. The School District further reserves the right to conduct a pre-award survey of any firm or individual under consideration to confirm any of the furnished information or to require other evidence of managerial, financial, technical and other capabilities, the positive establishment of which is determined by the School District to be necessary for the successful performance of the contract. The School District further reserves the right to cancel or amend the invitation to bid at any time and will notify all recipients accordingly.
