Site work for a water / sewer project in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project involves abandoning and replacing a failed 20-inch diameter drainwell that accepts stormwater from a 151.9-acre drainage basin within the Shingle Creek Watershed, which also receives overflows from an adjacent Orange County-maintained stormwater pond. The failed drainwell will be replaced with up to three 12-inch diameter drainwells on city-owned property, with the initial scope of work being the installation of one drainwell. The project includes soil stabilization near the failed drainwell, abandonment of the failed drainwell, and installation of one new drainwell at the location specified in the construction plans. Bidders must be appropriately licensed Florida Contractors pursuant to Chapter 489 Florida Statutes to be eligible. Bidders are responsible for checking for and acknowledging all addenda prior to submitting a bid.
