Reference Number 0000401319 Bid Intent Not Available Fiberglass Open Space Trail Bridges Engineered plans, fabrication and delivery for up to Six (6) fiberglass reinforced pedestrian bridges for use by non-motorized recreational user (hiking, biking and limited equestrian) as well as maintenance and emergency access for small vehicles (ATV and dirt bike). One of the Bridges (Buffalo Creek) will also be open to recreational motorized vehicles under 50" in width (dirt bikes). The bridges shall be sustainable, lightweight, reliable, and need very little maintenance. To meet the aesthetics of the project sites (City open spaces) and to provide bridges to a semi-remote location, bridges shall come in prefabricated unassembled pieces that can be easily assembled on site. Each bridge shall be independently packaged for more efficient mobilization after delivery. Bridges shall demonstrate minimum material strengths of tension, compression, shear and bending.
