The Federal Correctional Institution in Big Spring, Texas, seeks a qualified contractor to replace an inoperable 2000-amp General Electric Power Break Switch with a new switch compatible with the existing switchboard. The current breaker is a General Electric Power Break I, Serial# V1011576, Catalog No. TP2020SS, mounted in a GE AV-Line Switchboard with a GE Type 3R Enclosure. All work must comply with the attached drawings and specifications, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), manufacturer's specifications, and industry standards. The installer must be a licensed electrician in the State of Texas. The project must meet all seismic, environmental, life safety, NFPA, ADA-ABA, and applicable federal, state, and local codes. Materials and services must align with current industry standards, UL, and NEC. Contractors must provide 48-hour written notice before any system disruption, are responsible for repairing any damage caused during the project, and must obtain all necessary measurements and permits, submitting copies to the COR as required. **Location:** Federal Correctional Institution, 1900 Simler Avenue, Big Spring, TX 79720
