Demolition for a transportation facility in Big Spring, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The City of Big Spring will receive bids for the Demolition of Airpark West Facilities. Bids will be received at the City of Big Spring Purchasing Department, 310 Nolan Street, Big Spring, TX 79720 on or before 3:00pm on Thursday December 18, 2025, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Big Spring City Hall, 310 Nolan St., Big Spring, TX 79720. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting and project walk-thru regarding this bid on Thursday December 11, 2025, at 10:00am. The pre-bid meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers at 307 East 4th Street, Big Spring, Texas 79720. The City of Big Spring reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The City will evaluate the proposals to determine which firm(s) has the best qualifications and can adequately meet the projects need. If a contract is awarded, it will be awarded to a responsible bidder that offers the best value to the city. Bids may be held by the City of Big Spring for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award.
