Demolition and site work for a road / highway in Big Spring, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway.
The City of Big Spring, TX is inviting bids from construction contractors or interested parties for the demolition and accumulation cleanup of a list of properties. The work includes demolition cleanup and accumulation cleanup at multiple specified addresses. Each property will be awarded individually to the lowest responsible bidder. Bidders are required to review the specific scope of work for each property, which can be obtained at the purchasing agent's office. The awarded bidder will be required to attend a pre-construction meeting to discuss deadlines and disposal details. A certificate of insurance is required at the time of bid submission. Once awarded, each selected contractor is given 30 days from pre-construction time to complete scope of work. NOTE: Time limit extensions may be requested in writing to the office of the public works director.
