Renovation of a mixed-use development in Big Spring, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The work consists of replacing existing boilers and associated plant systems at the VA facility. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the boiler replacement and related system work in full accordance with the Statement of Work and all associated contract documents. The project includes removal of existing boilers, installation of new boiler systems, and integration with existing plant infrastructure to ensure proper operation and performance. The contractor shall furnish site superintendence directly through the prime contractor and comply with all requirements for bid guarantees, performance bonds, and payment bonds. Location: 300 Veterans Boulevard, Big Spring, TX 79720-5566. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 in accordance with VAAR 836.204. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 365 calendar days Site Visit RFI(s)/Questions shall be submitted via email nolater than May 4, 2026, by 10:00 AM Central Time to Horacio Fernandez at horacio.fernandez@va.gov. Answers to RFIs will be posted in sam.gov as an amendment. Task Order No.: 36C25721N0270 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
