Professional Design Services are required from qualified Architects registered in the State of Florida to provide planning and design services, complete contract documents (plans and specifications), bid and proposal services, and construction administration for two phases of a project. Phase 1 involves constructing new Collegiate School buildings on the SCF Venice Campus, approximately 22,000 GSF, including academic space, administration, cafeteria, auditorium, courtyard, and a physical educational area with a project budget of $16 million. Phase 2 involves constructing similar buildings on the SCF Parrish Campus, also approximately 22,000 GSF, with a project budget of $16.9 million. The college plans to use the Venice Collegiate School design for the Parrish school, adapting it for the site conditions. Separate contracts for design and construction management will be executed for each phase, but the same firms are anticipated for both phases. Interested architectural firms must apply in writing and submit the information required by the RFQ application packet, including firm abilities, qualifications, past educational facility experience, resumes of key personnel, and a current Standard Federal Form 254 or 330. Ten original proposals including the Experience Questionnaire must be returned in print to Facilities Management at State College of Florida, Manatee – Sarasota. No electronic submittals will be accepted. Late or improperly submitted responses will not be considered.
