Renovation of a municipal facility in Wooster, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work consists of partial non-structural demolition and replacing existing windows at Wooster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The time for Substantial Completion of all Work is 180 consecutive days from the Commencement Date in the Notice to Proceed. o Bid Guaranty: Electronic copy of the Bid Guaranty must be uploaded with your bid, payable to the Contracting Authority for the amount of the Base Bid plus all additive Alternates and should include Power of Attorney. o If your company does not submit a Bid Bond with your bid; but a certified check, cashier's check or a letter of credit with your bid; a Performance Bond will be required. o EDGE is required for bids exceeding $50,000. Participation should include 5% of the full bid amount including labor and materials. EDGE vendors can include labor and material suppliers. o Prevailing Wage rates are required for any state project that exceeds $75,000. o Facility Access background checks required from all Contractor employees before work may begin. Contractor must submit all required forms within 3 days of contract award to allow time to process all paperwork. Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to the Architect/Engineer ("A/E") no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. From time to time, the Commission issues new editions of the "State of Ohio Standard Requirements for Public Facility Construction" and may issue interim changes. Bidders must submit Bids that comply with the version of the Standard Requirements included in the Contract Documents. Prevailing Wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements are applicable to this Project. OWNER TO RELOCATE EXISTING LOOSE FURNITURE The Bidder may be subject to a Pre-Award Affirmative Action Compliance Review in accordance with Section 123:2-5-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code including a review of the Bidder's employment records and an on-site review. The Bidder must indicate on the electronic Bid Form, the locations where its services will be performed in the spaces provided or by attachment in accordance with the requirements of Executive Order 2019-12D related to providing services only within the United States and the requirements of Executive Order 2022-02D prohibiting purchases from or investment in any Russian institution or company. Failure to do so may cause the Bid to be rejected as non-responsive. There are no fees to register, create and enable a digital ID, or to download bid documents. There is a small expense on a monthly or per bid basis to submit a bid. All required compliance documents and forms need to be submitted as soon as possible after the Notice of Intent to Award is received. The work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Submission and approval of a background check for every employee entering the site. 2. Submission and approval of all submittal requirements of each Specification Section. 3. Careful coordination with the Owners forces to schedule and maintain the continual operation of this 24-hour facility. 4. Selective demolition of existing windows with recycling requirements for all aluminum, glass and other removed or demolished materials. 5. Provide new thermally broken insulated window units is strict conformance with manufactures recommendations and regulatory and Contract Document requirements. 6. Daily clean-up of the Owners facilities, wherever activities are taking place. 7. Final "Market Ready" cleaning of interior surfaces affected by the project and all exterior surfaces of the new installation, 100% ready for occupancy by the respective tenant.
