The City of Harrison Department of Public Works will accept sealed bids for rock salt (bulk and palletized) and pretreated rock salt (bulk and palletized). Bids shall be completed on official bid sheets included with the Bid Documents. Bids shall be sealed, clearly marked on the envelope as a bid for the appropriate contract, the time for opening of bids, and the name of the bidder. Bids will be received at the Public Works Facility at 303 N. 3rd St., Harrison, AR 72601 until 11:00 a.m. (local time) on the date specified. Bids received after the prescribed time and date will be returned to the bidder unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the bid for a period not to exceed 60 days after receipt of the bids.
