Site work for a water / sewer project in Albany, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project includes construction of approximately 92 feet of 10-inch PVC storm drain and related appurtenances. Bids are to be submitted to Diane Murzynski in the Finance Department at Procurement@albanyoregon.gov and must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on the specified deadline or any extension made by addendum. The email subject line must include the project number and name: Sd-26-01-a, 14th Avenue Storm Drain. The body of the email should clearly state the project name, the bid opening time and date, the bidder's name, and the contractor's license number (per ORS 701). Each bidder must have access to a current set of City of Albany Standard Construction Specifications, found on the City's website. All public improvements are required to conform to these specifications and bid prices must reflect them. Bidders must be licensed by the Construction Contractors Board (for construction) or the State Landscape Contractors Board (for landscaping). A 10% bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check must accompany each bid for all projects and will be forfeited if the bidder fails to enter into a contract within 10 days of notice of award. A scanned copy of this must be submitted with the bid.
