Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pueblo, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project includes but is not limited to Construction Administration and observation services for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project C - Dewatering and Disinfection Facilities (Refer to RFP package for complete scope of services) . This is one of three phases of the new wastewater treatment plant for Santo Domingo Pueblo. Project C is planned to be constructed concurrently with WWTP Projects A and B. Project A is currently under construction with an estimated completion date of late 2026 and consists of development of the 19-acre WWTP site, new wastewater facilities, administration building, and transfer station. Project C will occupy the Project A site for construction of a new pre-engineered metal building for the Sludge Dewatering Facility, new chlorine contact basin, and all related electrical, mechanical, piping, and sitework. The Project is funded by the US Department of Agriculture Rural Development and will adh e r e t o a l l USDA-RD requirements. Question Deadline 10/29/2025 Should an Offeror require clarifications regarding the RFP or have questions, the Offeror shall submit those questions in writing by email to Joe Mauser, P.E., Project Engineer at joe.mauser@kewa-nsn.us no later than date set forth in the date in Section IV -Project Schedule Response to Submittal of Questions November 5, 2025 The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project C - Dewatering and Disinfection Facilities is one of three phases of the new wastewater treatment plant for Santo Domingo Pueblo. A map of the WWTP site location is included in Section VI of this RFP. Project C consists of: New pre-engineered metal building and foundations, dewatering screw press, screw conveyor, sludge pump, air compressor, polymer feed equipment and associated piping, plumbing and electrical, on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system, sodium hypochlorite storage tank, hypochlorite dosing equipment skid, wash water booster pump system with controls, pressure tank, and basket strainers, potable water booster pump system with controls and pressure tank for plant potable water system. Chlorine contact basin consisting of cast-in-pace; inlet box, dual train serpentine basins, effluent holding basin and strainer manhole for plant wash water supply system. Yard piping throughout the Project C site connecting to yard piping constructed under Project A and B, including high and low pressure potable water, wash water, gravity sewer, force main, drain lines, and natural gas, install electrical sitework, install electrical, instrumentation, controls, and supervisory equipment throughout the Project C area; and construct sitework throughout the Project C area
