A project to perform paving work on I-86 on the Corning bypass and I-99 in Riverside and a perform a bridge deck overlay on a bridge that carries I-86 over the Norfolk-Southern Railroad, City and Town of Corning, Steuben County. NYSDOT Region: 06 SOUTHERN TIER/CENTRAL NEW YORK The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2027. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2027/2028. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2028. As of October 13, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2027. NYDOT :I-86 & I-99 Mbc Paving - Corning, Riverside and Bypass, I-86 Nsrr Deck Overlay, Bin 1074890 *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
