The contracting authority is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite solution at 20% available chlorine concentration for use in wastewater treatment facilities. The product must conform to all applicable ANSI/AWWA B300 standards or equivalent specifications and be accompanied by current Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Deliveries will be required in bulk or approved containers to designated facilities, with vendors responsible for safe handling and transport in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 Question Deadline 10/22/2025 at 4:00 PM ET All questions relating to technical aspects of the bid are to be directed in writing to the Authority Procurement and Contracts Manager via online. The term of this Agreement shall begin January 1, 2026, thru December 31, 2026, and may be renewed for one (1) optional one (1) year term provided the extension is agreed to by ACUA and the Contractor. By submitting a bid, the bidder acknowledges that in the event he fails to enter into a contract upon an award of same, the entire amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Authority as liquidated damages. The ACUA reserves the right to request spot testing if quality is in question. The ACUA reserves the right to refuse any and all deliveries made with equipment that is poorly maintained. The tanks and trailers shall be clean and free of residue that may contaminate the Contractor's product or impede the unloading process.
