Establishing an on-call agreement for Electrical Services. Electrical Services include installing new wiring, both indoors and outdoors, repairing or splicing wiring, installing electrical devices, troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing or replacing switches, and similar work. Proposals should include a description of the specific Electrical Services the firm can provide, the firm’s experience and relevant references, the capacity to perform jobs in a timely manner, including the ability to begin Emergency Work as soon as possible (never later than eight hours after being called) with a pre-determined surcharge, and to begin Priority Work as soon as practicable (never later than one week after being called) without a surcharge. Pricing should be included to the extent it can be determined. Emergency Work is needed to restore municipal services to residents or businesses and is expected to require no more than 1-2 business days to complete. Priority Work is needed to complete or continue an ongoing municipal project which would otherwise be stalled and is expected to require no more than 2-3 business days to complete. The Preferred Vendor may decline offers for particular jobs unless they have agreed to perform Emergency or Priority Work.
