Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 10/30/2025 2:00 PM (PDT) Scope of Services specializing in municipal code for an update of its Grading Manual (Resolution No. 93-206, Rev. 1 dated February 7, 2005) and Grading Ordinance No. 346-06 (last updated January 17, 2006). The purpose of this RFP is to engage a consultant to draft an updated Grading Manual and Grading Ordinance that encompasses grading, erosion, sediment control activities general provisions, definitions, grading permit requirements, fees and security, cuts and fills, setbacks, drainage and terracing, asphalt concrete pavement, erosion control, grading inspection, and completion of work, along with supporting appendices including process flow charts, technical guidelines, setback details, slope stability standards, property protection references, certification forms, and any applicable Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Services requested include incorporating all revised content and updated images, exhibits, and drawings into the City's digital documentation system, leveraging current technology for enhanced clarity and precision. Documents relating to the City's Grading Manual and Grading Ordinance update, consisting of a comprehensive review of all grading standards and related public works practices, will be made available to the selected consultant in order to support their efforts on the Grading Manual and Grading Ordinance update.
