Watermain CIPP Lining at Various Locations within the City of Toronto [26TW-CPI-01CWD (Part A), 26TW-CPI-02CWD (Part B)] Ward 2 Etobicoke Centre, Ward 3 Etobicoke-Lakeshore, Ward 5 York South-Weston, Ward 6 York Centre, Ward 15 Don Valley West, Ward 21 Scarborough Centre. This contract includes, in general, the following work: o Provision of various shop drawings covering all aspects of the work, liner designs, installation procedures, safety plans and project schedules. o Procurement of specialized inspection contractors, materials, and fittings to facilitate the work to be completed. o Permitting, notifications to the public, and responses to concerns during construction. o Pre-surveying of properties and associated water meters and services. o Coordination of locates for watermain and underground utilities. o Implementation of traffic control on site. o Design and implementation of temporary bypass systems to facilitate the work. o Camera inspection (CCTV) of the interior of the watermain for pre-cleaning, post-cleaning, pre-lining, post-lining, and warranty purposes. o Test excavation pits for confirmatory purposes. o Excavation of access pits. o Where required, installation of new copper water services from the existing water main to the street line. o Dis-infection of watermain, fittings, CCTV equipment, and tools throughout the work. o Host pipe preparation, including repairs, cleaning, and field measurements. o Rehabilitation of existing watermains by installation of CIPP liners. o Sampling of CIPP liners on site and provision of third party testing. o Collection of resin samples. o Reinstatement of services. o Wet-taps of existing watermains to facilitate new services. o Replacement of existing valves, hydrants, and fittings. o Replacement or rehabilitation of hydrant leads and existing service connections which are 100 mm and larger in diameter. o Recommissioning the rehabilitated watermain and pressure testing. o Complete Restoration.
