Temple University Terra Hall - Elevator Upgrades - GC - General Construction Package No. 1, Elevator Modernization and Upgrades Temple University is seeking qualified contractors for General Construction Package No. 1, Elevator Modernization and Upgrades, as part of the Terra Hall Repairs and Renovations project at Temple’s Center City Campus. The project involves the renovation of Terra Hall, with the primary purpose to address deficiencies in the building's infrastructure, provide necessary upgrades, and facilitate the relocation of TUCC into the building. The scope for the Elevator Modernization and Upgrades Package includes the full modernization of six elevators at Terra Hall, encompassing upgrades to elevator conveying systems, controls, safety features, and interiors to meet current standards and accessibility codes. Most elevators are to be outfitted with modern dispatch technology, while one is to remain in standard mode. The awarded contractor will serve as the General Prime Contractor until another is designated. The work encompasses all necessary services, labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, insurance, and taxes as specified in the Contract Documents, Agreement, Plans, and Specifications.
