Reference Number 0000401330 Bid Intent Not Available The Dublin San Ramon Services District's (District) wastewater treatment plant's (WWTP) Building T currently has an existing absorption chiller and associated chilled water and hot water pumps. The absorption chiller is at the end of its useful life and is recommended for replacement as part of the WWTP HVAC Replacements Project (CIP 22-P010)(Project). The chiller has recently failed, so there is an urgent need for a new chiller. Therefore, the District desires to pre-purchase Building T's chiller replacement. The goal for pre-purchase is to have a new chiller delivered for replacement, to be installed by a Contractor under the Project, prior to the major need for a new chiller next summer 2026. The District requests bids for furnishment of the chiller for one or both of the two (2) design options listed below in order to weigh cost and lead times for each. Depending on lead time, storage of the chiller unit may be needed prior to delivery to the District's WWTP, located at 7399 Johnson Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588. Bidders shall submit a monthly cost for equipment storage in case it is needed prior to installation by the Contractor. Expedited lead time is an alternate item for each option, in the case that it is possible to pay additional fees to decrease the lead time. Bidders can bid on any or all the design options in their bid. The District will select at most one (1) of these options for purchase.
