Site work and paving for a road / highway in Poughkeepsie, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will correct existing pavement deficiencies on State Route 9 from Route 113 to West Dorsey Lane in the Towns of Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park and City of Poughkeepsie in Dutchess County. The work will primarily consist of milling and filling the roadway and resurfacing with warm-mix asphalt to extend its service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. NYSDOT Region: 08 Hudson Valley The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2025/2026. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2026. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2027. As of October 14, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT : PMI: Route 9 Resurfacing: Route 113 to West Dorsey Lane: Dutchess Co *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
