Site work for a water / sewer project in North Platte, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are invited for the Valley Drive Sanitary Sewer project, which includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, plant, and all else necessary to properly construct approximately 1600 linear feet of 8” PVC sanitary sewer, 3 manholes, and dewatering. Bids must be aggregate on all work to be performed and broken down to accurately reflect unit prices for all estimated quantities. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check from an FDIC-insured bank amounting to 5% of the contractor's bid, payable without condition to the treasurer as evidence of the bidder's good faith. The accepted bidder must enter into contract within ten days from Notice of Award and furnish a bond to complete the work and pay for all labor and materials, or the deposit is forfeited. Contractors must file, with their bid, a statement of compliance with fair labor standards as defined by Section 73-104 R.S. Nebraska, 1943, and maintain such standards in contract execution. The City reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
