The City of North Platte, Public Service Department, is seeking proposals for the replacement of the existing fuel system, including tanks and pumps, at 1402 North Jeffers, North Platte, Nebraska. The project scope includes site reconnaissance, the preparation of contract documents (plans, specifications, permits, etc.) for the removal of old tanks and pumps, and installation of two new 10,000-gallon tanks (one for gasoline and one for diesel fuel). Additionally, three new pumps with a fully integrated fuel management system are required. An optional stand-alone DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system that will integrate with the fuel system may be included. City personnel will assist with installation, wiring, and concrete work. On-site training and support are to be provided. Each contractor bidding on the work must file a statement confirming compliance with fair labor standards, as defined in Section 73-104 R.S. Nebraska, 1943, at the same time as filing the bid. This provision must also be included in the contract. The City of North Platte reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids.
