The Scope of Work consists of but is not limited to: resurfacing baseball infields, re- sodding soccer and baseball fields, and replacing bleachers, benches, dugouts, and backstops at eleven (11) separate parks in the township. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Abington Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Abington Township in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bonds are required to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. Questions are to submitted via Online by October 30, 2025. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
