BIDS must show price for materials and/or equipment delivered to the Township Public Works at 2201 Florey Lane Roslyn Pa 19001 or designated location within the township. THE TOWNSHIP OF ABINGTON reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A bid bond is required with each bid. A performance bond will be required from the successful bidder. Questions Due Date: May 1st 2025, 4:00 PM EDT Online Portal Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all Bids for any reason, as well as the right to award the contract as may appear in the best interest of the Township. Promptly notify the Department of Public Works of Abington Township through the Director of Public Works, Michael A. Jones at MikeJones@abingtonpa.gov, of all conflicts, errors, or discrepancies in the Bidding Documents. Article 6 - Bid Security 6.1 Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 6.2 The Bid Security of the Successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has executed the Contract, furnished the required security, and met the other conditions of the Notice of Intent to Award, whereupon the Bid security will be returned. If the successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Contract and furnish the required contract security within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award, the Bid Security will be forfeited. The Bid Security submitted by any Bidders whom Owner believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by Owner for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening.
