Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yonkers, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will improve transportation infrastructure to enhance the safety of pedestrians through improvements to sidewalks, ramps, and crosswalks along the Yonkers Avenue Corridor from the Saw Mill River Parkway to the Nepperhan Avenue in the City of Yonkers in Westchester County. Traffic signals will be replaced to ensure all intersections are equipped with accessible pedestrian signal equipment and signal retiming will be investigated to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety. Work will also include pavement resurfacing and drainage improvements. NYSDOT Region: 08 Hudson Valley Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2029. As of October 15, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026.
