Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Ossining, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project will rehabilitate six culverts in Westchester County and replace one culvert in Rockland County. The rehabilitations will occur on the culverts that carry the Taconic State Parkway over an Unknown Stream, two culverts that carry Midland Avenue over a Drainage System, NY Route 121 over an Unknown Stream, and two culverts that carry US Route 9 over an Unknown Stream. The replacement will occur on the culvert carrying Route 304 over Closed Drainage System. Work will take place in various municipalities throughout Rockland and Westchester Counties. NYSDOT Region: 08 Hudson Valley Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2027. As of October 15, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT : Culvert Rehab/Replacement: Rockland and Westchester Counties *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability. The project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
