Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Pleasantville, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project will replace eight culverts and rehab one culvert in Westchester County. The replacements will occur on the following culverts that carry US Route 9 over Annsville Creek, NY 123 over Mill River, NY 117 over Saw Mill River, two culverts that carry NY 121 over Unknown Streams, two culverts that carry NY 22 over Unknown Streams, and NY 172 over Unknown Stream. The rehab will occur on the culvert carrying US Route 9 over Sparta Brook. Work will take place in various municipalities throughout Westchester County. NYSDOT Region: 08 Hudson Valley Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2028. As of October 15, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT : Culvert Rehab/Replacements: Westchester County *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
