Site work for a civil project in Pleasantville, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Reference Number 0000411138 The Village of Pleasantville (Pleasantville Water District PWS ID: NY5903455) receives its water from the Millwood Treatment Plant in the Town of New Castle. The Millwood Water Treatment Plant is supplied by two (2), independent sources of water. The primary source of water is the Catskill Aqueduct, which flows by gravity from the Ashokian Reservoir (Ulster County) to New York City. The secondary source of water is the Croton Reservoir Aqueduct. This secondary source is pumped to the Millwood Water Treatment Plant. The Village supplies water to properties within (i.e. In-District) and outside (i.e. Non-District) its municipal boundaries. The Village of Pleasantville's Water Distribution System consists of approximately 52 miles of 4- inch to 16-inch diameter cast/ductile iron mains installed between 1901 to the present. In addition, several thousand feet of privately owned 2-inch diameter and smaller galvanized steel laterals are fed by the system. The Millwood Water Treatment Plant (MWTP) maintains the water levels in two (2) water storage tanks located off Ridgeview Drive by level sensors integrated into a SCADA system. The Village of Pleasantville maintains two (2) existing water storage tanks: the "North Tank" and "South Tank". The "North Tank" is a +-1.0 million gallon (MG) ground level riveted and welded steel tank constructed in 1934. The "South Tank" is a +-1.0 MG ground level riveted steel tank, with the concrete bottom constructed in 1905 and the steel top constructed in 1935. The total water storage tank capacity is +-2.0 MG. Each tank diameter is +-77 feet with an available water depth of +-30 feet. The Village of Pleasantville is soliciting technical and cost proposals (i.e. RFP response) to establish a contract through competitive negotiation with a qualified professional consulting engineering firm (i.e. Consultant) to provide professional engineering service to develop a water distribution system hydraulic model and "20 Year Capital Improvements Plan" for the design, permitting and construction of various water distribution system improvements outlined in this RFP. The seven (7) proposed locations The Village will acknowledge receipt of the proposal via email. Electronic proposals shall be addressed with the email subject line RFP 2026-04 "WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM HYDRAULIC MODELING, CAPITAL PLAN & VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS" to: Ms. Alyssa C. Hochstein Village Clerk/Secretary to the Village Administrator Village Hall 80 Wheeler Avenue Village of Pleasantville, NY 10570 ahochstein@pleasantville-ny.gov With an Email Carbon Copy (CC) to: Mr. Eric S.
