Renovation of a multi-residential development in Weehawken, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
Elevator Modernization at 2-4 Potter Place Location- 2-4 Potter Place Weehawken, NJ The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The project consists of the following work: a. Modernization of (1) One Hydraulic Elevator b. New Minisplit system for Conditioning of Mechanical Room c. Additional MEP work to bring the elevator up to current codes as required by the Modernization. d. All other work described on the drawings and specifications 2. The work includes, but is not be limited to providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to perform work related to project layout, demolition, removal of rubbish, repairs to all surfaces damaged during construction, and all other work indicated in the Contract Documents, and required to carry out a complete installation, clean and put the spaces affected back into working order. The work shall consists of, but may not be limited to, the modernization of the senior housing elevator as indicated on the drawings and as specified in the contract documents. the base bid scope includes modernization of one elevator, including new machines, operational controls, emergency rescue device (eru), dispatching, door equipment, signal fixtures, updating sprinklers, fire alarm devices, car interior finishes, patch, and repair of adjac Sealed bids will be received for "ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION" in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by RSC Architects. All bids must be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications. Bids must be stated in words and figures and submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Weehawken Senior Housing Corporation of Weehawken, NJ. The face of the envelope must be conspicuously marked on the top right-hand side in letters not less than one inch with the words "Public Bid," followed immediately below by "Weehawken Senior Housing Corporation Elevator Modernization" in letters not less than one half inch high, and then the date of the bid opening. If accepted by mail or courier, the outer envelope must be marked clearly in the same manner. The inner envelope must have the same information in the center and, on the bottom left, the name and address of the bidder. Bids by mail or postal service must be delivered between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. prior to bid opening, and not earlier than 48 hours prior. Any bid not delivered as set forth in the notice shall be declared void. Bids must be on forms obtained from RSC Architects with the drawings and specifications, and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000, as well as a certificate from a surety company. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), P.L. 2004 c. 57 (Business Registration Law), and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 as set forth in the bid specifications. The Weehawken Senior Housing Corporation of Weehawken, NJ reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids if deemed in its best interest. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
