Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which must reach the Architect at least ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following The project is for the waterside improvements adjacent to the South Park Pool Complex located at Port Imperial Boulevard in Weehawken NJ. This work includes improvements at the water's edge from the lagoon out to the Hudson River frontage. The work shall include an extension of the Hudson River Walkway, and improvements to the waters edge including construction of a new bulkhead. Sealed bids are requested for waterside improvements at the South Park Community Pool and Complex for the Township of Weehawken, Hudson County, New Jersey. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided in the bid package and must comply with all specifications on file. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and labeled for the waterside improvements project. All forms in the bid package must be completed in their entirety, and the bid must be presented in words and figures. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond, along with the consent of an acceptable surety company with an "A" rating in the amount of ten percent of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), must be included. The successful bidder must enter into a contract within ten days of written notice and comply with Affirmative Action Requirements, the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, the NJ Prevailing Wage Act, Federal Labor Standard Provisions, and all other applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
