Summary of Work A. The project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following work: 1. Replacing all subflooring and deteriorated floor joists, structural floor improvements, sealing of the crawlspace, asbestos abatement of existing flooring materials and wall panels, replacing HVAC systems, new plumbing fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new interior doors, new front entrance wall system, and painting. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty, or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570.
