This Project Will Be Funded by the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program, Grant #23db-n05. Principal Items of Work Include the Following: The Installation of 1,700 Tons of Asphaltic Concrete Street Resurfacing, 10,500 Linear Feet of Restriping and Other Miscellaneous Items. All Nonresident Contractors Preparing Bids Shall Submit With the Bid Documents Evidence of a Current Florida General Contractors License, Evidence (With Original Seal of the State of Florida) of Proper Registration With the Florida Secretary of State as a Foreign Corporation, and a Certificate of Good Standing of a Foreign Corporation From the State of Florida Department of Revenue. Bids Submitted by a Nonresident Contractor Without These Documents Included Will Be Rejected. Buy America Preference to Infrastructure Projects: The Buy America Preference Applies to Federal Awards Where Funds Are Appropriated or Otherwise Made Available for Infrastructure Projects in the United States, Regardless of Whether Infrastructure is the Primary Purpose of the Federal Award. The Construction of This Project Carries the Buy America Preference Policy. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities. Each Bidder Must Submit With His Bid, Security in the Amount, Form, and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Payable to the Owner for 5% of the Total Amount of the Bid Not to Exceed $10,000.00.
