This project includes: A feasibility review and design of an overtopping protection system for the Dry Run Detention Dam in Cumberland, Maryland. The design will allow for the dam to be safely overtopped by floodwater during a probably maximum flood without risk of dam breach. The awarded consultant shall: Review and confirm the results of a dam breach analysis. Design an overtopping protection system for the dam, including any alternative designs if applicable Provide construction drawings and specifications for the installation of the overtopping protection system Identify and obtain any required permits on behalf of the City, as well as updating the Emergency Action Plan for the dam upon conclusion of the project.
