The City of Bryant is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for site preparation, grading, concrete work, pavilion assembly, electrical installation, and water supply for a 38 x 60 pavilion at 306 W 6th Ave, Bryant, SD 57221. All work must comply with local, state, and International Building Code (IBC 2018) requirements. Federal funds will be used to assist in construction. Bidders must comply with federal requirements including bonding, insurance, and procurement standards under 2 CFR Part 200. Project details: site preparation, grading, and gravel base placement; 4-inch concrete slab and 32 diameter x 48 pier footings; pavilion assembly with Douglas Fir post and beam, 6 standard bents, 6/12 roof pitch, 12 tie beam height, 2 overhang, roof assembly with 30-year shingles; electrical installation including a 100A outdoor panel, trench for 1/0 wire, 4 duplex outlets, and 4 wall packs; water supply to north and south ends of the pavilion (site map provided); alternate pricing for seamless gutters. Contractor requirements: proof of general liability, workers compensation, and auto insurance; 10% Bid Bond with submission; 100% Performance and Payment Bond upon award. Bid Submission: Submit sealed bids labeled Bryant Pavilion Construction Project including base bid, alternate pricing, and proof of bonding/insurance. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to submission. Contractor Bid Packets are available for pickup at City Hall, 115 E Main Street, Bryant, South Dakota, during business hours. Late bids will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities.
